Casual ‘cool’ place and I would say that it is wheelchair and dog friendly however we had neither but I would say there is room for the chair and atmosphere lends itself to a ‘friendly or small’ pet and I would absolutely beleive a service would be permitted. I had two light lagers-each suggested by the bartender and my husband chose a couple of IPA’s. We went with a cheese pizza that was OUT OF THIS WORLD and saw other pizza’s coming out along with some apps that made us decide we would be back soon!! .Posted on Google

The DIRT CANDY PIZZA was like all of my fave ingredients on a pizza--goat cheese, beets, hot honey, pesto, and I added sausage too. The crust was great. The space itself is a family-friendly restaurant/brewery with tons of seating, TVs, and they even have shuffleboard. Their neighbor has a whole list of craft beers. It comes with veggies and bread made from the pizza dough. It's so stinking good. I'm not a big beer drinker but my son is and he likes to come here. This is one of those places that you come to for the food and drink and perhaps not the ambiance. It's not that the decor is bad there's just not much to it. Let's start with the beer - we had the chubacabra and the dark in my heart - they both were excellent. We would have ordered more but we were driving!!! As with the pizza we ordered "the afters" - soooo good. The crust was so soft and we wiped our plates clean. I am usually the one that leaves the crust behind - not this time. There was a long, 30+ minute wait for pizza but we were given advance notice and appetizers. So I just took a star off on service but no big deal. We ordered the hummus and the sausage & pepperoni pizza. The hummus was creamy and flavorful with a jalapeño kick to it- very tasty. It came with carrot sticks, cucumber, and bread. The sausage and pepperoni pizza was brought out fresh from the oven. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and has a nice garlic flavor to it. It doesn't hurt the brewery also shares the space and has really nice beers. Also really amazing staff on both sides. If you've not been it's worth it even if it's a journey away. And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Nay L.March 30, 2026Everybody loves pizza, however, I absolutely love pizza and still hold a standard. This overlaps the first place pizza spot on my list! And the first place spot on my list is a friend's house who makes everything and grows everything from scratch and cooks it on her woodstove. Lol Goat and Ram absolutely blew my mind and taste buds out of the water. Even my toddlers could taste the significant difference between how great this pizza was, and any other pizza they've ever had before. My 4 yr old daughter still talks about the crust, and we went there like two weeks ago. I was surprised at how family friendly it was considering that we had to walk through the brewery to find a big table for us, our friends, and all of our kids. Everyone working was so kind and so friendly to us and our children. The kids loved watching them, make the pizzas and even when we had a little spill, everyone was so quick to jump in and help us clean it up. Seriously though this pizza, sauce to cheese ratio is perfect crust, texture, and performance for carrying the cheese and sauce was sturdy, but not crunchy. And we went ahead and ordered the weekly special which was called an Irish nacho pizza and it had weird stuff on it like potatoes and salsa and I was saying, "MMMM" every bite. I'm typically pretty excited about food, but this pizza actually takes the cake for the best food that I have ingested in a month.Posted on Google

Fast service, outdoor seating & great food/beer. We ordered the hummus/veggie plate (best pita I've had!) and the sweet potato chimichurri pizza and added a side of habanero honey - a surprisingly delicious combo. Patty R.February 8, 2026My sister and I ordered the sausage and pepperoni pizza. It was AMAZING. The flavor profile just kept building. The sausage was sliced instead of a free form piece of sausage, but it was still amazing. You could see a piece of fennel seed in the slice which gave it so much flavor along with the pepperoni. The crust was thin at center and then built up to a puff on the rim that was so flaky like a croissant. The crust just kept building to the flavor profile. When we placed our order, I asked the employee to explain their sauces. She described them all and then said the cherry hot pepper sauce was her favorite. The sauce put the pizza to the next level. If you like crushed pepper seeds on your pizza, this sauce is a must and so much better with fresh peppers. The employees were super friendly and explained everything and answered all our questions as first time visitors. They all worked together and impressed on us that they enjoyed working there. It was a nice day, so we sat outside. The sunshades could be bigger to put out more shade, but that was all forgotten with the first bite of pizza. I will definitely return. Came here with my family and we all agreed it's some of the best pizza we've had in a long time, from the dough to the perfectly cooked crust. We tried the pepperoni & sausage and the white P&S pizza, and both were insanely delicious. The pizza was both thick and light at the same time. We also ordered the house salad and... bomb is the only word. That spicy Italian dressing was straight fire! So good that we tried to get the recipe, but they keep it under lock and key. Can't blame them. BUT, they might package and sell it sometime in the near future. Highly recommend checking this spot out. It's located in downtown Mesa, so there's no parking right out front, but plenty nearby with a short walk. You order at the bar/front (no table service), but everything comes out fresh and fast. It is without a doubt the greatest pizza restaurant I have ever tried. Ever since I was a young kid i have been a very skeptical eater, only eating the most basic of foods. However, when I decided to give Goat and Rams creative and unique pizza options a try I was speechless... it was easily the best pizza I have ever tried. When I realized that their menu changed every 2 weeks I was heartbroken, I thought that I would never be able to eat a slice of pizza that good ever again. I was wrong. Every single time that they drop a new menu item it somehow surpasses the week before. This place is a never ending gold mine of pizza knowledge. The staff is exceptional and will always work with you to make sure your experience is held to the highest standard every single time you walk through those doors. I am convinced that this place will forever be the greatest pizza restaurant in the world. Side note their house salad with the spicy Italian dressing is my favorite salad I've ever had. I appreciated this very much. The pizza was so good, although my husband would have liked the crust without some of the black on it. I was unaffected by it. It was one of the best pizzas I have eaten. My husband enjoyed one of their many beers. It was very busy on a Friday night, and a bit loud, so we ate outside. But if you’re big on flavor that will blow your mind… you just found “Your friendly neighborhood pizza plug!” This is a small business that can only buy so many ingredients to focus on quality and turn a profit, so they do run out of pizza. Please don’t be that guy and leave a nasty review just because they ran out and didn’t save you any… Side note: Josh is the man, I tried to snag a t-shirt a couple months ago but they didn’t have my size. Josh told me once they restock he’d put one aside for me. I honestly forgot about it, but since I love the pizza I was there again tonight getting a pie. Hummus definitely has a kick to it. Food came out quick and the guy was super nice. The outdoor seating was well lit and not too loud, perfect for me and my buddies. Miranda R.October 14, 2025Can pizza be a spiritual experience? I say yes lol. We aren't drinkers, but Goat and Ram is in the same space as a brewery. The space was large and had a very cool vibe. You had me at 2000s indie. I haven't had pizza in MONTHS. It's started making me not feel well. Unfortunately, it's one of my partners favorite foods. Before our vacation ended I wanted to find a pizza spot for us to have lunch. It's like I was touched by an Angel girl. Immediately upon walking in, we were greeted by the owner, who asked if we had ever been in. They gave us the rundown of their smaller menu and how everything is made by them (crust, the croutons on their salad is made from bread they made). I'm such a believer in doing a few things really well, and this place knocked my socks off. Not only fantastic, but also the first time pizza has not made me ill in months and months. The care they take for the ingredients and prep really shows. We shared the pepperoni and sausage and added the caramelized onions from another menu item. SO. GOOD. Just the right amount of everything. The cheese, the sauce, the meat, THE CRUST. Omg. Don't skip the cherry pepper jam. They are sharing space with a brewery so when you order it will be right at the entrance on your right! We decided to share a pizza and got it half Pepperoni/Sausage and Bulgogi/Mushroom. We also shared the hummus appetizer! We were talking hot gossip and updating each other on the drama of our lives but it was really hard with HOW GOOD EVERYTHING IS. We literally had to take a break from talking to just enjoy the food. The hummus was actually really good, the pita was flaky, and vegetables were crisp! Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. The best of everything in my opinion. Ordered online and walked down the street to pick it up. It was ready the minute I walked in. My all time favorite was the mushroom bulgogi pizza and I'm just waiting for them to bring it back. The crumb on their crust is incredible and the best I've ever had. I've had pizza in Italy too, and this tops some of the ones I had over there(though it is more American style. The people behind the kitchen are extremely nice and welcoming. Christine T.June 6, 2025Both my best friend and local pizza expert Wizard of Za recommended Goat & Ram pizza, so of course I had to try it. It's located inside of Phantom Fox Beer Company in downtown Mesa. They have plenty of tables as well as seats at the bar. There are a couple of TVs, so you can catch a game while enjoying some food and beer(s). I got there around 11:30am on a Sunday and was the first customer to order pizza. The whole place got really busy starting around noon. The food menu is small, 4 non-pizza options and 4 pizzas, which is great because I often get decision fatigue. I tried the Cheese pizza which contains three types of cheese - mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan. I loved how cheesy it was. I mean the cheese pull was perfect! The crust was slightly thin yet still strong enough to hold up the topping. I liked that the outer crust was airy and not dense. Their second standard pizza flavor is Italian & Sausage, then the other two are rotating flavors. They also have a variety of side sauces. I didn't try any, which I regret because the calabrian chili oil and habanero honey sound so good. I don't usually go to downtown Mesa, but I would definitely go back for more of this pizza!Posted on Yelp

We tried one of their pizzas, it's a newer flavor that they rotate, called TORO, with lemon garlic sauce * roasted cauliflower * feta * caramelized onions * harissa hummus * mozzarella. Sounds strange, but it was VERY GOOD. Somebody else got the broken dart pizza which had salami, goat cheese, and roasted red pepper jelly on it, that was fantastic!! It's shared a doable with Phantom Fox Beer Company, but because It was the middle of my work day, no beer was purchased. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza and the hummus. I think the crust on the pizza at goat & ram is the best crust I've ever had. It's delicious! But, to tell you the truth, it's the jalapeno hummus with the bread (I'm guessing it's the amazing pizza dough, but I could be wrong), carrots, and cucumbers that's my favorite - - Yes even more than the pizza! I could eat that hummus every single day and be happy. This is one of those places that everybody has to try, so if you have not been here, go fast! Usually I won't eat all the crust but I ate every bite of their green and white pizza. My husband is from NY and very picky about pizza. He loves the pepperoni & sausage one. Get the hummus, which has a little spice, fluffy/chewy pita and always crunchy veggies, def recommend. Never had a pizza here I did not like: Jalapeño popper, pepperoni & sausage, choking goats....everything is delicious. It can get really busy on the weekends, sometimes with a line out the door. I checked it out and they had pepperoncini cream cheese on a pizza (two of my favorite things) shit slapped! The thing that got me coming back before the end of my 4day trip (yeah it was THAT good) was the jalapeño hummus. AMAZING. I wish I could ship it home. Their flat bread is so warm and fresh. I can't wait to go back just for that! The service was good. You walk up and order and then the server brings you your order.
