Have you ever wondered how the names of our amazing pizzas came to be? Well, let
us give you a little insight into the Goat and Ram family. The Goat has always been
interested in great food. What really got him thinking about different flavor combinations
was the first time mom made us her spicy chicken pizza when she had us over for
dinner many, many years ago. Thus getting the creative pizza combinations going.
Mom’s Spicy Chicken – the beginning of the end.
Everyone loves their mom’s cooking. Goat’s mom loves trying new recipes, maybe
that’s where he got his passion for food. One of our favorite meals she made for us was
an off the wall pizza, that didn’t make sense that long ago. We were still in the age of
traditional pizza. Boring! Goat and Ram are anything but boring (hopefully).
She made this great pizza with chicken and a soy sauce base. Back in the days when
everyone still used Boboli pizza crusts. Yes, that’s how far we’ve come. Of course, the
recipe has evolved since those days, but we have to give credit where credit is due. Our
family is what made the foundation of this downtown mesa restaurant, and we want to
